Ten min

Since my exams are coming , I felt I should share some of my funny experiences I encountered during exams with you...

Two days before I had a test......

The night before....

I take a few notes...

*After twenty min*

THE TORRENT HAS FINISHED DOWNLOADING

I start watching the movie ROJA (havent seen in a long time)....

I look around and see that my roomie who is also my classmate is reading harry potter...(he hasn’t read till now)

*satisfied expression on my face*i continue with the movie...

by the time I finish it, it is 1.24 a.m.

I open VOD and read it for the next 6 min.....

2.00 am :I keep alarms for 8.30,9,9.15,9.30,9.45,10.00......(sometimes even these many alarms aren’t enough to wake me...)

I get up at 9.45 a.m and make my way to college....

The teacher is not there yet....

Friend: u read anything???

Me: ya....cryptology by Arvind Swamy...(if someone gets this joke let me know. I have cryptology this sem)

Friend: *dumbfounded expression* we have IM test today...

Me: *grinning widely* bazinga!!!!!u have fallen prey to one of my jokes.....

Teacher enters the classroom and everyone gets ready...

Much to my dismay I get seated in the first bench.

*looks around hopefully so that a good partner gets seated beside him*....

Mr x comes and sits beside me...

X : please help me in the exam

Me : look, can u please sit somewhere else i don’t know anything....

X : don’t lie, u know everything...

Me : *when did i know anything expression*I never read for tests...I just read image compression...

*teacher gives papers**gives me I have my eye on you expression*

Me : *prays to god**looks hopefully towards the question paper*

attempt all 3

*looks down*

Question 1: recent developments in field of multimedia*don’t know*

Question 2: something I don’t remember *I didn’t know this one either*

Question 3: again something*don’t know expression*

I look around and the toppers look happy and are already busy writing it. I look for familiar faces and they look back at me.

Mr y: know anything??

Me: no...u?

Mr Y: no. Hopefully someone good gets seated beside me.

Me: *heaves a sigh of relief*at least i am not alone

Mr.Z gets seated beside him. Mr .Y looks happy(very few know the reason.)

Me : *looks again at the question paper in the hope that questions change** thinks I can write the first one generally*

Teacher : I don’t want any general answers for the first one .I want the answers I gave in class.

The hope that remained goes away.

*slowly I write my name ,branch ,roll no and other things*

X :how many u know?

Me :*devasted* none

X :I know two...copy

Me : *relieved* thanks...*thanks god....pass ho gaya*

X writes one question..I copy it duly...somehow escaping the attention of the teacher..(not easy copying when this teacher is around)

X writes one more

*shows answer sheet*

Me : *looking away*

X : why aren’t u copying???do it fast..

Me : too bored man..I feel hungry and sleepy...I cant sit for another 1 hour and 20 min...

*looks at the paper...two pages look good....I can get 1 or 2 out of 10...good good....checks the roll no and name again....*

*gets up and goes away*...ten min.....

.I throw the question paper away and make my way towards the notice board....something catches my attention...the official shortlist for attendance had come out...

*searches his name frantically....suprised to not find his name*...

Goes through the list again....*suprised*....there were 33 names on the list....

Slowly after half an hour people make their way out of the class.....X makes his way towards me....

Me: they put up the shortlist....

X: they did that yesterday...

Me: oh!!!!u wrote all 3????

X: ya

Me: tell me one thing how come u studied and came????

X: who told u i studied????i saw the diagram and whatever i wrote was my own....

Me: *shocked*jaw drops* what????i thought u knew !!!!

*recovering from shock**

Me: I still think I will get 1....surely not zero....not bad hah....*topper expression**

X: when have we scored more than one’s and two’s????

Me: *thinks*nah.....I think it is all about maintaining balance.....for the greater good...*devilish grin*...
